this is the heart of this website. it's everything momo discovers on her trip. this includes inspiration, thoughts, notes, and my own work. enjoy.
is carrying a notebook instead of a phone an act of resistance?
my notebook manifesto:
- writing into this notebook means being present with what is.
- there are no errors.
- by writing into this notebook i teach myself to control and direct my attention.
- nothing that's written down gets lost.
- it doesn't matter how other people use their notebook or what they think of this one. this one is just mine.
- if the choice is between phone and notebook, choose the notebook.
i feel so much shame
A digital installation. Fascinating, how you can create art online.

that damn train is on time. it’s never on time. why is it on time?
my bed is holding me hostage. i have Stockholm syndrome.
i didn’t get groceries yesterday. i am hungry. i regret nothing.
my bag is heavy. i packed too much. i should’ve packed more socks.
the road is wet. i don’t slip.
the guy behind the counter looks like he secretly spits on the croissants he’s selling. that’s one Euro, please. i pay by card.
the train makes a weird noise. maybe it will derail. my mom would be sad.
the world outside the window is blurry. i am tired.
people in Berlin walk faster than elsewhere. i have failed PE every year. i am always one step behind.
